
Suicide & Mental Health Awareness
Mental Health & Suicide Awareness walks have been a large part of our groups awareness focus. Walks have been held in Cochrane, Mondovi and Durand, WI.
We are looking forward to announcing the 2022 Awareness Walk location soon!
WHY WE WALK:
In remembrance of those we have lost, in honor of those who survived and alongside of those who are still struggling.

Community Involvement
Donations to our group have allowed us to purchase:

One Mental Health First Aid Training program to be taught throughout the tri-county community.

2 QPR (question- persuade-refer) certified trainings that will allow Hope 4 U members to present QPR gatekeeper public training

Wristbands, wallet cards, and prevention booklets for distribution to local businesses', Buffalo & Pepin County police departments and health and human services departments.

Materials to launch Emotions Anonymous Group
Hope 4 U Resource tables have been set up at numerous community events.
School Involvement
Approaching 2nd annual HS Senior Scholarships
SOS (signs of suicide) program purchased for Buffalo County H&HS Dept. to present in person or virtually to Buffalo County Schools
Inspirational Banners, wallet cards, wristbands and bookmarks distributed to schools as well.
Awareness presentations presented during Buffalo County 8th, 10th & Senior Days.

QPR training for group sizes of 30 or less,
